Her eyes appeared more expressive.
Years seemed to disappear instantly.
When Robert walked into the salon a few minutes later, he stopped in his tracks.
For several seconds, he couldn’t say anything.
Finally, he smiled.
“You were beautiful yesterday.”
He gently took her hand.
“And you’re beautiful today.”
Margaret laughed through happy tears.
“I should have listened to you years ago.”
Robert shook his head.
“No.”
He smiled warmly.
“You did it when you were ready.”
